 National Fundraising Event by way of 311A

Unit 311A is aiding the efforts of the National incorporation and non profit process.  "We are conducting a 50/50 Holiday Raffle," said 2nd Lt Ryan Smith of Yorkville's 2nd Platoon.  "We raised over $100 the first day!"  Company XO, Tim Keierleber told us, "We are seeking to raise about $1500 by December 30."  "This will allow the National Program to incorporate, pay the insurance for 2010 and hopefully help us fund equipment and activities for the cadets."  "We would just like to say thank you to all the donars and busnesses that have help us along the way so far!" exclaimed Captain Johnson, the CO of 311A.

 

Keierleber named Nat'l Ops Officer

Master Chief Warrant Officer Timothy W. Keierleber, has been tapped to ensure the complience of Ranger Cadet's standard of training as its National Operation Officer.  Prior to this appointment, which was made by Commandant Gerald Johnson, Keierleber served as the National Dispersing Officer.  Keierleber continues to support the efforts of unit 311A in Sandwich, Illinois.  He represents the Cadets there as the First Platoon Commander.  "Keierleber's faith and dedication to the organization are unwavering and he strongly supports the Cadets under his command and their growth," said Commandant Johnson.  "He has our full confidence as the principal vanguard of complience as we move into the future."

  Unit 311A is again looking to expand their ranks with a few good kids.  "We are always recruiting, it is a constant endeavor," said Sr Chief WO Tim Keierleber.  "We would like to see the company grow to about 15 Cadets by August 2010," Keierleber also announced.  When we talked to Capt. Johnson he told us, "The economy has made it difficult not just for us, but all the local youth organizations."  "However, we are willing to work with the parents to accommodate to their individule situations." the Commander told us.
